THEA BUILDS ENVIRONMENTS IN WHICH FOUNDERS, INVESTORS, AND DEALS CAN MOVE

She is the founder of 10XFounder, a media and events platform operating at the intersection of early-stage companies, capital, and emerging technology.

Her work centres on constructing both editorial and live settings where companies can be positioned with clarity, understood in context, and, where appropriate, connected to opportunity.

BACKGROUND

Educated at Fettes College in Edinburgh her early formation was grounded in discipline, structure, and expression.

She later returned to formal education, completing eight years of study from further education through to Master's level.  This included video production, photography, scriptwriting, editing, copywriting, performance, public speaking, audio production, social media strategy, and application of emerging technologies, including AI and cymatics.

The combination of formal training and applied practice information a working understand of how ideas are communicated, received, and acted upon.

MEDIA & COMMUNICATION

Thea's work sits across media, communication, and public presence.

She is a former Editor-at-Large of AI Spy Media and a weekday mid-morning radio host on Subjam DAB.

Her background includes appearances across national media, including BBC Radio 5 Live, ITV, and national press as well as appearing in Private Eye, alongside earlier work in performance and broadcast including touring as a comedienne and training as a television presenter.

She continues to contribute as a guest across podcasts and news platforms internationally.

Described by The Camden Journal as having an “Obama-style” approach to personal photography.

EVENTS & PLATFORM BUILDING

She has a longstanding background in events, including serving as Event Manager for the ’must attend' tech sector B2B event Internet World at Olympia - one of the UK's longest-running trade events - and creating associated formats such as SMS World.  The offering also included a magazine and awards.

Her work has spanned both B2B and B2C environments, bringing together commercial audiences at scale while maintaining clarity of purpose and structure.

The experience informs the development of 10XFounder as a platform rather that a series of isolated outputs.

ADVISORY & TRANSFORMATION WORK

Thea has worked directly with ultra-high-net-worth entrepreneurs across multiple sectors and jurisdictions, focusing on transformation, positioning and visibility.

This has included:

• refining public presence 
• shaping communication 
• aligning individual with the environments in which they operate

This work now informs the structure of the platform, rather than existing as a standalone service.

PUBLIC SPEAKING & POLITICAL WORK

She has taught public speaking to political figures and contributed to the development of campaign communications, including the creation and direction of audio - visual material for parliamentary and mayoral candidates.

Her work has also included PR and media leadership roles , including Extinction Rebellion, and speaking engagements with organisations such as CAFOD.

CREATIVE & CULTURAL WORK

Alongside her media and commercial work, Thea has collaborated with artists and performers, supporting the development of profile and visibility at scale.

This has included work leading to major performance platforms, including Wembley as well as international stages.

NETWORK & CURRENT FOCUS

Her network spans institutions and industries, from Lloyd's of London and the Houses of Parliament to communities within AI, Deep Learning, and emerging technologies.

She operates AI HIVE in partnership with Tim Santos, bringing together technically capable builders and operators working at a high level within artificial intelligence.  

Her current focus is the continued development of 10XFounder as a scalable platform across media, events, and partnerships, aligned with the demands of the AI era.

APPROACH

Her work is not positioned as advisory in the conventional sense.

It is concerned with:

• structure 
• positioning
• and the creation of environments in which people and ideas can move

The emphasis is on clarity, alignment, and forward progression. 

ON STAGE

Thea regularly moderates and hosts conversations across founder investor, and technology environments.
